The anticoagulant solution in the blood bag contains citrate phosphate dextrose adenine (CPDA-1), an anticoagulant solution that prevents blood coagulation and its preservation. Adenine helps maintain high levels of ATP in red cells. In addition, the pH is also regulated. It is safe, well tolerated and keeps the blood for 35 days.


CPDA-1 contains:
Citric acid 0.299g, sodium citrate 2.63g, monobasic sodium phosphate 0.222g, dextrose 3.19g, adenine 0.0275g, water for injection per 100ml.

General precautions:
- The product is non-toxic, sterile, aspirogenic and single-use
- Do not use the bag if it is damaged or has visible signs of damage
- Do not use if the solutions are not clear
