Description

InFibra flexible reinforcement ribbon for dental use is the long-term, reliable, fast, economical solution for both the dentist and the dental technician for metal-free dentistry.
InFibra is used with resin composites or acrylic resins.

Composition: Polyethylene fiber with high molecular weight

Mechanical properties:
- Modulus of elasticity 95Gpa
- Tensile strength 3.0 Gpa
- Specific weight 0.97 g / cm3
- Elongation percentage 2.4%
- Water absorption below 0.9%
- Melting temperature 145°C

Different heights of InFibra:
ø 1 mm Tubular is used for repairing mobile prostheses.
1 mm has the same uses as 2 mm and is used in case of limited space.
2 mm widely used as orthodontic retention and for intercoronal splints.
3 mm used in periodontal wedge and bridge armor where the natural element is used as Pontic.
4 mm Widely used for temporary bridges.
25 mm Used for fixed and mobile prostheses and for large repairs and reconstructions.
The specialist will decide which height is ideal.

In a narrow bridge, where the force insists centrally, the bonding reactions ensure the compression of the "occlusal" fibers, and the "gingival" fibers, subject to traction, stretch.
The fibers are loaded mainly with tensile strength, while the polymerized composite contributes to compressive strength.

Benefits:
• Handy:
Infibra appears as a silky fabric, pleasant to the touch, being soft, flexible, easy to apply, unlike metal strips.

• Comfortable:
Infibra easily adapts to dental surfaces and has no "memory", so it is ideal for adapting to interproximal spaces. The strips are thin (approximately 0.3 mm) and the patient hardly feels their presence in the mouth.

• Aesthetics:
The fiber is white and translucent. It is very camouflaged and the lines disappear when they are covered with composite and acrylic resin. The special fabric allows a perfect integration with the covering materials.

• Resistant:
The strength approximately 15 times greater than that of steel, the high elastic modulus, as well as the tensile strength and high resistance make it the material of choice for definitive and temporary prosthetic reconstructions.

• biocompatible
• Low liquid absorption
• Dimensionally stable
• Radiopaque
• High resistance to stress
• Long lasting
• Compatible with all resin composites and acrylic resins
• Economical

The main applications of InFibra:
• Construction of bridges
• Space maintainer
• Orthodontic reconstruction
• Until
• Consolidation of composite and resin artifacts
• Bars on implants
• Repair of dental prostheses
